Outpost Estates Block Party on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm
One of the main goals of the Outpost Neighborhood Association (ONA) is to build community. This fall, we're doing that with something new! Instead of our usual Summer BBQ and Halloween Open House, ONA is combining both into a single Block Party on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm, right in our own neighborhood on the Maravilla Drive cul-de-sac. There will be live music from Soul Saboteurs, a food truck, free food and drink tickets for ONA supporters, and a genuinely good reason to say hello to your neighbors. Permits and insurance are in place, LAPD is supportive, and the noise window is short and set. Come join us!
📍 Where and When
The party takes over the cul-de-sac on Maravilla Drive, near 220 Maravilla Drive, from 4pm to 7pm. No car, no host home, just the street itself, closed off for the afternoon and turned into a gathering spot for the whole community. ONA has secured the necessary street closure permits and event insurance for the Block Party. We've also been in touch with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), which has been supportive of the event, and we're inviting the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), our LAPD Senior Lead Officer, and other government and community representatives to stop by as well.

🎶 Live Music
We're bringing in a live band for the occasion. Soul Saboteurs, a high-energy soul, funk, and R&B outfit, will be playing throughout the event. Take a look at their videos here to get a feel for the sound.
A quick heads up for anyone on or near Maravilla Drive: with a live band, things will be a bit louder than a typical Saturday afternoon. We've kept the event tightly scoped to the 4pm to 7pm window specifically so the noise has a clear start and end, and the block returns to its usual quiet well before evening.

A food truck will be on site serving up food and drinks throughout the party. Come hungry!

This event is for everyone. Bring your friends, bring your colleagues, and bring your neighbors. Whether you've lived in Outpost Estates for decades or just moved in, this is a great chance to pop by, meet people you may not have met yet, and enjoy an afternoon in the neighborhood together.
Current ONA supporters will receive a complimentary ticket good for food and a drink from the truck. Neighbors who aren't yet supporters, along with guests, are welcome to purchase food and drinks directly from the truck. Not yet an ONA supporter? Join us today.
