A Warm Welcome, Delivered: Introducing the Outpost Estates New Neighbor Brochure

With several homes currently on the market in Outpost Estates, our neighborhood is about to welcome a new wave of neighbors. Outpost Neighborhood Association (ONA) wants every one of them to feel at home from day one, and now we have something special to make that happen.

📬 What's Inside

ONA has created a welcome brochure (click here to see the digital version as a PDF) designed for new residents, and it packs a lot into a small package:

  • An introduction to ONA, our 1927 hillside community's 501(c)(3) non-profit, which is 100% volunteer-led, meaning every dollar donated goes directly to neighborhood improvements like landscaped traffic islands, brush clearance, entry security cameras, social events, and historic preservation

  • How to stay connected, including our monthly email newsletter and the active neighborhood WhatsApp group where hundreds of neighbors share real-time updates, vendor referrals, and safety alerts

  • Volunteer opportunities across Beautification, Events, Marketing & Communication, Traffic & Safety, and more

  • A local guide featuring neighborhood-favorite dining spots from Musso & Frank Grill to Shin, plus nearby hiking and entertainment including Runyon Canyon, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Pantages

  • Voices from your neighbors sharing what makes life in the Outpost so special

‍QR codes throughout the brochure link directly to OutpostEstates.com, our events calendar, and newsletter signup, so new neighbors can plug in with a quick scan.

‍ ‍🏡 Just Moved In? Or Know Someone Who Has?

‍If you are new to the neighborhood and have not received your brochure yet, or if you know a new neighbor who would love a copy, reach out to us at info@outpostestates.com and we will make sure one gets to their door.

You can also view the digital version of the brochure right here: Download the Welcome Brochure (PDF)

‍Welcome to all of our newest neighbors. We are so glad you are here, and we look forward to seeing you at an upcoming ONA event.

‍ ‍🙏 Thank You, Tom and John

This brochure would not exist without the generosity of two longtime Outpost residents. Tom Davila and his husband John Zaffarano, who have called Outpost Estates home for more than 30 years, sponsored the brochure and have volunteered to print and hand-deliver a copy to every new neighbor as they move in.

‍Tom and John have long been champions of this community, and this latest contribution is a perfect example of what makes the Outpost feel like a small town in the middle of Hollywood. On behalf of the ONA Board of Directors and the entire neighborhood: thank you both.
