One of Outpost Neighborhood Association’s 2025 top priorities is “Neighborhood Safety - advocate for wildfire brush clearance and wildfire prevention measures.” As we head into the hotter months, it’s more important than ever to stay informed and prepared for wildfire risks in our area.
Join Hollywood Hills Fire Safe Council for the Wildfire Preparedness Fair on Saturday, June 7 at 10:00am at Lake Hollywood Park.
This is a valuable opportunity to hear from experts and public safety officials on topics such as:
✅ Fire prevention strategies
✅ Home hardening techniques
✅ Emergency evacuation plans
✅ Insurance tips and coverage guidance
✅ Landscaping for fire safety
✅ First aid and response training
Speakers include representatives from the Los Angeles Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department, MySafeLA, City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Hollywood Sign Trust, Post Alarm Systems, and more.
You’ll also have access to practical demonstrations and on-site resources to help you protect your home and family.
